Liberty Bell

One of the most iconic images of Philadelphia is the Liberty Bell. If you can’t visit everything on our list, don’t let this be one of them. The Liberty Bell isn’t just another “that’s interesting” tourist attraction.

There’s a LOT of history behind it: It was moved numerous times because of the British occupation and played an important role post-Civil War. It’s right across the street from Independence Hall and the Benjamin Franklin Museum and the National Constitution Center, so you can see them all without moving your car.
