Independence Hall

Independence-HallThe most famous document on earth next to the Bible is the Constitution of the United States of America. And it was signed right here in Philadelphia in Independence Hall. The Declaration of Independence was signed here too. It served as the primary meeting place for the Second Constitutional Congress from 1775 to 1783.

Local tip: It’s right across the street from the Liberty Bell and walking distance to the Benjamin Franklin Museum and National Constitution Center. So make sure to give yourself enough time for the tour and the Bell. Suggestion: Go to Independence Hall first, then visit the Liberty Bell.
