If you miss City Hall, it’s because you were sound asleep. Situated smack-dab in the middle of Center City, the largest load-bearing building in the world is visible driving from either direction down Broad St or Market St. In fact, Philadelphia’s City Hall is what is featured on the main page of this site.
If you are a fan of architecture, you will absolutely LOVE this building. No two images on the building are the same. They may be similar but never the same. A lion might have its tongue out and another has its mouth closed. And there are HUNDREDS of images to view.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Take a ride to the top with William (Billy) Penn (no, that is NOT Ben Franklin posing at the top of the tower). From there you can witness a breathtaking 365-degree view of the city.
